Bakersfield Parks Launch Multiple Community Sports Leagues for All Athletes

Bakersfield A.C.E.S. runs its 6v6 co-ed recreational soccer league on Saturday nights at Polo Community Park. The program schedules two seasons each year, with fall running September through November and spring running March through June at a cost of $90 per player.

Polo Community Park serves as the main venue for Bakersfield A.C.E.S. games. Players can also join through a free agent option listed by the league. Sportsplex Bakersfield provides additional pickup games and organized leagues during the week, including the same free agent pathway for soccer participants.

Beach Park Adaptive Softball

The City of Bakersfield Recreation & Parks Department operates an adaptive slow-pitch softball league for adults with developmental diversities at Beach Park. Weekly games continue through October 21.

Youth and Adaptive Programs at Local Facilities

i9 Sports runs the largest multi-sport youth leagues in Bakersfield for ages 3 and older, covering basketball, volleyball, flag football, soccer and baseball with age-appropriate instruction. League of Dreams offers training and competitive opportunities for athletes ages 5-22 who have physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities, and it has opened registration for 2026 boxing and spring sports.
